The Malkia Initiative’s Voices to End FGM, is a powerful anthology amplifying the voices of those at the forefront of the fight against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). Published in alignment with International Zero Tolerance for Ending FGM Day theme 2025, this groundbreaking collection brings together thought leaders, adolescent girls, youth, survivors, donors, and government representatives to shape the global conversation on ending FGM.

Through deeply personal narratives, expert insights, and bold reflections, Voices to End FGM highlights the lived realities of those affected by FGM while showcasing the resilience, innovation, and collective action driving change. Contributors share their motivations for joining the movement, the challenges they’ve faced, and the victories that continue to inspire them. The anthology also explores strategies that have worked, areas for improvement, and bold new approaches to accelerate progress towards SDG 5: Achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls by 2030.
