Break Free

Promoting sexual and reproductive health rights, ending child marriage, and reducing teenage pregnancy through youth empowerment and policy advocacy. We activate youth-led dialogues and institutional policy bridges to build an environment where adolescent girls decide their own futures.

The Systemic Challenge

Dismantling the Silence Around Adolescent SRHR

In many pastoralist homesteads, discussion of reproductive health and bodily autonomy remains heavily tabooed. This information blackout leaves adolescent girls vulnerable to exploitation, early childbearing, and forced marriages arranged without their consent.

Break Free mobilizes youth advocates—both young women and young men—as certified peer educators. By creating evidence-based SRHR discussion forums in schools, youth centers, and health facilities, we replace taboos with medically accurate literacy, legal protection literacy, and accessible adolescent-friendly health services.
