SheRISE

Providing holistic, safe avenues for vulnerable adolescent dropouts and teenage mothers to heal, build leadership, and re-enter learning tracks. We de-stigmatize early motherhood by pairing academic second-chances with technical vocational enterprise.

The Re-Entry Bottleneck

Beyond Stigma: Restoring Educational Trajectories

In pastoralist communities, teenage pregnancy often marks the permanent end of a girl's education. Cut off from household support and facing intense social exclusion, young mothers are vulnerable to cycles of repeat exploitation and extreme financial dependence.

SheRISE removes these structural barriers. Through trauma-informed mentorship, community nursing stations for infant care, and accelerated technical vocational education (TVET), we provide adolescent mothers with viable economic tracks—whether returning to primary school or launching independent market enterprises.
